Events and Showings

“When one teaches, two learn” - How teaching students to think creatively at an NGO in India taught me how to create art myself.

This past May, I had the unique opportunity to teach at SPJIMR’s (S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research) Abhyudaya. It is a community-based organisation that provides mentoring and holistic after-school education to bright, underprivileged children from low-income neighbourhoods in Mumbai so that they become independent and the schools and community around them improve.

While here, I oversaw a week-long camp that helped students engage in various mediums of art and creativity, and made a lasting impact on their lives and mine.
