Painting and drawing have always been a form a self-expression for me, the place I go to when I need “me” time. My paintings don’t depict objects or people, but instead emotions I feel in the moments that stick with me throughout each day. Although I am quite neat and tidy, I like to express messy, chaotic energy in my work. The drips in my watercolor art reflect an extension of my personality! I paint on an easel and let the drips happen just like life, which is unpredictable and spontaneous. – V.P.
